| SWSC ANNOUNCES 2015-2016 SELECT TRYOUTS |
April 8, 2015 - SWSC will be holding tryouts for 2015/2016 NCYSA Select League on Monday, May 18 and Wednesday, May 20 from 6:00-7:30 at the SWSC main complex. We will be holding tryouts for the following age groups: U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15. We will use Thursday, May 21 as a rainout makeup in the case that either of the first two nights are postponed. All players should arrive with a copy of their birth certificate, proper soccer attire, and water bottle or sports drink. Good luck to all players trying out!

In the first year of the new NCYSA Select League, SWSC Select Black teams proved their mettle and made our club proud. Playing against teams from around the region, SWSC teams produced some sterling results. Congratulations to all of the teams that competed in this new level of play and join me in recognizing the tremendous accomplishments of the following teams:

| SWSC Select Black Teams Play Great in Beach Soccer Classic |
On November 16-17, SWSC had two teams enter and compete in the Beach Soccer Classic in Wilmington, NC. Both teams played fantastic and earned medals during the tournament which had teams from three states in attendance. The U10 SWSC Select Black boys team garnered 3 victories before coming up short in the championship game against the CASL Bravehearts. The team is coached by Allen Whaley and Melissa Teachey. The U12 SWSC Select Black Girls went undefeated and captured the gold medal after winning the championship match against the PGSC Wrath. The team is coached by Chad Teffeau and Chasity DeBarber.

| SWSC Teams Find Success in Blast at the Beach |
SWSC had five teams compete in the annual Blast at the Beach tournament in Swansboro during the 2013 Labor Day weekend. All of the teams played well and two teams actually finished in the awards ceremony. Our U12 SWSC Select Black girls won the championship of their division while the U12 SWSC Select Black boys captured the finalists award. Congratulations to both squads as well as all the other SWSC teams on a great weekend of soccer!

On August 17-18, SWSC had six teams competing in the Matt Helms Memorial Shootout. Congratulations to all the SWSC teams on a job well done during this event. You represented SWSC well and made us proud. Battling the rain, the heat, and the opposing teams, it was a challenging weekend. Congratulations go out to U10 Select Black and U12 Select Black Ladies on winning the tournament championship in their brackets! We also had two other teams very nearly bring home the finalists trophy. Awesome effort, Select!!

July 25, 2013 - SWSC, on behalf of the other member clubs, is extremely excited to welcome Piney Green Soccer Club into the CAMSL family effective with the Fall 2013 season. The addition of Piney Green will benefit our kids as we broaden the competition base for our young developing players. In achieving this objective, our league provides Piney Green with that same opportunity for their kids. Join me in welcoming our newest CAMSL member to our family as we look forward to some exciting games this fall and the coming seasons!

COMPLEX #1: Our main complex on Blue Creek Church road.
COMPLEX #2: The field beside the gym at Southwest Middle school.
COMPLEX #3: The back fields at Southwest Middle, which were our old game fields.
