SWSC to Host Wilmington Hammerhead Exhibition Game

March 5, 2014 - SWSC is extremely excited and proud to announce that we will once again be hosting the Wilmington Hammerheads professional soccer team in their only appearance in Onslow County this year. On Tuesday, April 8, the Hammerheads will take on the Barton College Bulldogs at Southwest High School in a re-match of their very competitive game last preseason. In addition to the excitement of the Hammerheads, this will also be a homecoming for former Southwest High soccer stars Austin Tausch and Drew Williams. Drew Williams was named to the Carolinas Conference All-Conference team this past fall. All area youth soccer teams are invited to participate in the Parade of Teams at halftime. Simply register your team at the sign up table after coming in the gate. Also, get there early to take part in the Human Tunnel, which is a Hammerhead pre-game tradition and a kid favorite! Kickoff is at 7:00. Tickets for adults are $5, kids age 4-12 are $2, and kids 3 and younger are free. It's HAMMER TIME!!!!
